Summary

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide compassionate care and daily support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. This role focuses on empowering individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity while

supporting their daily routines and goals.

Job Responsibilities

● Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities

● Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and

toileting

● Administer prescribed medications correctly after proper training

● Monitor and document client health and behavior

● Maintain a safe, clean, and home-like environment

● Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

● Accompany clients to appointments and community outings

● Transport clients and run approved errands

● Encourage independence and self-help skills

● Communicate changes in client condition to supervisors

● Complete accurate daily documentation

● Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

● High school diploma or GED

● 18 years of age or older

● Valid driver’s license

● Ability to meet physical demands of the role

 

Shifts Available

7am–3pm | 3pm–11pm | 11pm–7am (All days of the week)
