Pay: $21.23–$25.56/hour

Job Overview

The Special Education Home School Teacher provides individualized, high-quality instruction to

students with disabilities in a home-based setting. This role focuses on academic progress,

behavioral support, and collaboration with families and care teams.

Duties

● Design and implement individualized lesson plans across literacy, math, and early

education

● Deliver instruction tailored to each student’s learning style

● Track and document progress toward IEP goals

● Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools

● Implement behavioral management and intervention strategies

● Collaborate with families, therapists, and educational teams

● Maintain accurate and compliant educational documentation

● Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

● Valid Teaching Certification (required)

● Special Education Certification (required)

● Experience working with autism and developmental disabilities

● Knowledge of IEP processes and progress reporting

● Strong communication and classroom management skills
